In a Ketra with HomeWorks QS installation, integration of third-party lighting loads follows this sequence:
1. Wire the fixture(s) to the appropriate N3 Satellite or Satellites’ DMX out ports (Wiring not covered in this manual)
2. In Tech Tool, configure the N3 Satellite(s) for DMX Output (See DMX Output)
3. In Design Studio, add the output(s) into groups on the Organization tab, then incorporate those groups into scenes (See Using Third-Party Lighting in Scenes)
In a Ketra Only installation, integration of third-party lighting loads follows this sequence:
1. Wire the fixture(s) to the appropriate Ketra control—either N3 Satellite or X2 Dimmer (Wiring not covered in this manual)
2. Configure one of the following:
i. 0-10V output from an N3 Satellite (See Configuring 0-10V Output for Lighting)
Note: If the Ketra submittal indicates that a fixture should be integrated using a “0-10V+CC” protocol, consult Configuring 0-10V Output for Lighting.
ii. Contact-closure output from an N3 Satellite (See Configuring Contact-Closure Output for Lighting)
iii. DMX output from an N3 Satellite (See DMX Output)
iv. Line-voltage dimming from an X2 Keypad (See Configuring an X2 Dimmer)
3. In Design Studio, add the output(s) to groups on the Organization tab, then incorporate those groups into scenes (See Using Third-Party Lighting in Scenes)
