Design Studio curates content so that you never need to build a custom scene unless the installation calls for it. You can see our pre-made scenes in the Scenes tab, listed in the My Scenes panel. These scenes are ready to be assigned to a keypad button, contact closure input, or time trigger in a show.
When you provision a keypad to a Ketra Only installation, each button’s name determines what default scene it gets (e.g., a button labeled Media would get the Media scene). You can always assign a different scene or show to the button by selecting the button in the Keypads tab and clicking Clear Scene or Clear Show.
For most commercial applications, mapping these default scenes to Ketra keypads is sufficient to meet installation requirements, saving programmers significant amounts of time. Many homeowners, however, will ask for custom scenes.
Ketra’s pre-curated scenes differ in the color and intensity that they set for groups in the installation. Typically, each scene treats "Task" and "Accent" groups differently from other groups.
